I moved here in 1981 and then made the mistake of moving to Tucson for 9 years in 1997. I'm so happy to be back here and will not leave again! The heat in the summer gives us a break from all the winter visitors and traffic improves considerably. If there is a recession going on in America you wouldn't know it here. I lived there from 1990 to 95. It does get hot, but having relocated back to the midwest where I grew up, i'd move back to Phoenix in a heartbeat, even given its growth the last 10 years.
